In 1978, a new business, with wide horizons, was born out of the expertise and vision of two men : Elias Chedid and Jack Ayoub.

A Deir El Amar native, Elias Chedid moved to Beirut in 1963, motivated by his ambitions.After years of hard devoted work and continuous learning, he managed to forge his own strong business, and a fine reputation as a powerful, and respected steel trader.

At that time, Jack Ayoub was a prominent Sales Manager in one of Lebanon’s leading steel companies back then, Ste Boulos Fayad for steel trading. He was reouted for his managerial competence and accuracy, as well as his deep knowledge and ground experience .

The partners-to-be realized they had one common asset they both considered crucial: honesty.

And very soon, Chedid and ayoub gained the confidence of a wide range of clients,becoming an integral part of the lebanese steel market. Based in Jisr El Basha, where a real compound was built to host not only the factory, the warehouse, and the offices, but also the residences of the Chedid and Ayoub families, the company is in permanent expansion and development date, maintaining its role of pioneer , and copying with the growing steel and stainless steel technology. In 2001, a service center was established in order to meet the customer’needs. In fact, after visits to industrial exhibitions and machine factories in several industrial countries, a selection of new equipment was added, such as shear machines for steel cutting,press brakes for bending, CNC machines (plasma laser like) and CNC punching machines.

Nehme Elias Chedid runs the company’s tools department , providing steel working goods, such as a power tools, abrasive disks for cutting and grinding, welding machines, sheets,electrodes, industrial wheels, as well as hardware, including fences, locks, cables , and chains…

Our staff is,of course, professional,well trained and specialized. In our workshop, we always seek to deliver the best quality of work, and never let customer go unsatisfied.
